JUST ABOUT ME
Hello my name is Mark Schaffer. Known to most as P~WEE. I’m an Earth Loving , Star Gazing Capricorn. My Family is my EVERYTHING. Having a family to be responsible for, made me become a better man in everyway possible. Striving to be a great roll model for my daughter and two sons. Becoming a head coach, a Boy Scout Leader, etc.
I was raised to love nature and all things in this universe, and boy do I love the Stars. Astrophotography is my passion and crystals are my love. Being an Astro photographer I’ve grown to appreciate an endangered species lol. The Dark Sky.
BOY SCOUTS
Being a Boy Scout Leader taught me to appreciate Mother Nature and our planet Earth more then I already did. I also learned how to teach others this appreciation. I am a firm believer in the “Leave No Trace Policy”. Leave nothing but foot prints. Take nothing but pictures. Along the way you will come across other peoples trash. Please be kind to our Earth and pick it up.
LIGHT POLLUTION
With light pollution growing at an alarming rate. I felt the urge to support The International Dark Sky Association. Please check out their website, link is in their name. It will educate you on this growing problem. The Eastern half of the United States is on the brink of extinction. There is also a Dark Sky Map you can find here, to show the very few dark sky areas left. Please do your part and use ECO friendly light bulbs to help preserve the night sky.
